Member Description:
metnet (the Marches Environmental Technology Network) is dynamic regional network designed for businesses within the environmental technology sector.

Funded by , AWM and the ERDF, metnet is a partnership between Herefordshire Council, Shropshire Council, Telford and Wrekin Council and Worcestershire County Council administered by Shropshire Council.

metnet seeks to encourage businesses to get together with a view to growing and developing through innovation and collaboration. It also provides practical information, opportunities and advice on how to make that happen. The network also provides advice and support to businesses that are considering diversifying into this high-growth sector.

In addition to a programme of events which include a yearly Conference, Meet the Buyer and business information briefings on key topics, metnet has a website that seeks to provides a resource for businesses. In addition to being a central access point for news, opportunities and events within the sector, environmental businesses can profile themselves, what they offer and create a 'mini-site'. The project promtes metnet website as the definitive place to look when trying to source a supplier of environmental products and services in across the Marches area.
