We have been working hard at SCE to offer additional benefits to our current membership services and are pleased to showcase our new look Newsletter.

Newsletters will be regularly sent to members and interested parties to update you on developments within the construction sector, advise on business events that you can get involved with and to promote good news stories and member success stories.

The rapidly expanding opportunities for Shropshire businesses and homeowners to take advantage of renewable energy will be on full display at a major exhibition this month.

Visitors to the free Green Expo 2011 event will be able to discover how to generate their own electricity, manage waste and cut carbon as well as hear briefings on the cutting-edge eco-technologies on offer in the marketplace.

A free Business event is taking place on the 29th November 2011 in Telford to support local companies and organisations who would like to find out more about the possibilities to deliver projects and services by collaborating with others.

Whilst this is a free event, booking is essential and due to limited space only one person per organisation can attend in the first instance.

We have been busy planning our event calender for 2012 to enable members to pre-book dates into diaries and ensure that no opportunties are missed to attend presentations and make those all important business contacts.

So far, we have 4 Breakfast meetings planned for 2012:

Within the SCE Website there is a function where non-members can sign up to be kept up to date with developments, projects and news items.
